Chef P.oy
Our Story
A kitchen run on instinct, memory and a very big personality.
P.oy's Place is chef P.oy's home on Koh Tao — a warm, lantern-lit dining room built around the food she grew up cooking in Southern Thailand. Slow-simmered curries, punchy tom yums, whole fried fish from the island's boats, all served the way her mother taught her.
She's the one greeting you at the door, arguing over chilli levels, and personally plating the massaman. Regulars come back as much for her laugh as for the food.
The new menu keeps every classic — and adds a few things for the traveller in you: ribeye pad kra pao, picanha steak with nam jim jeaw, and a proper cocktail bar with smoked old fashioneds and salted caramel espresso martinis.
